My b-day is coming up soon and I want some suggestions for some good all around fun games. Every genre excpet MMO ,RPG and such. Keep In mind I dont neccesarily have a supercomputer. And Im not looking to upgrade untill I can build my own from the gorund up.AMD Athlon@1.8ghz , 640mb ram , x1650pro DDR3Currently have CSS,CSCZ,DOD,G-Mod, and HL2
orange box, cod4So many games, only one birthday
Ahh, those were the days. You should definitely buy The Orange Box. I think Episode 2 is pretty mediocre, and Portal is short but sweet (for sweet, read awesome and hilarious), but Team Fortress 2 is just the best online shooters I have ever played. I definitely hink you should buy TOB. It has Episode 1 and 2 which should appeal to HL2 fans (despite their mediocrity), Portal is just great and TF2 is god.Besides that, I think you should look to getting a large number of older and therefore cheaper games. It's hard to know without knowing what you own, but some games I really think everyone should play: Max Payne 1 %26 2, Dawn of War (and as many expansions as you can afford), Escape from Butcher Bay, just about all of the Grand Theft Auto games (including 1 and 2, old but great), Doom Collector's edition (Ultimate Doom, Doom II and Final Doom), Medieval II, System Shock 2.

San andreas, then download san andreas multiplayer
CoD4, I didn't like TF2, not much combat skill is required in it (aiming) which made it boring for me if I play it alot, just teamwork (what classes your team picks is a huge part of it).
The Orange Box
