I'm really getting tired of WoW after playing for 2 years, and need some info about this game, I've looked up some things online but not getting all the answers to my questionsIts said to be f2p, but I've also played alot of 'said to be f2p' games, and they have stupid **** like a 'item shop', where you basicly have to spend money on if you want your char to be any good, is this what guild wars is, or is it f2p all the way, no added stuffAnd I'm planing on just buying the original game just to see how I like it, before I buy any expantions, will this make a huge diff with gameplay, and would I run out of things to do early on?Guild Wars a good buy?
been playing GW for 2 years and I still love it questin/farming with my guild for new items. For a free online game its worth every penny.Guild Wars a good buy?
Thanks for the response, and also another questionIs this game a grind-till-you-drop game, or is there way more content to it
The game is pretty good, It lasted me over year, I would still be playing if it werent for my love of FPS games. This isnt a grinding game though It's more about doing Quests/Missions and going along with the storyling and you'll level up as you do quests and Missions.
Thanks for the response, and also another questionIs this game a grind-till-you-drop game, or is there way more content to it
Depending on what you are grinding for. Levels you don't grind for the most part. If you are talking about weapons the drop rate is pretty low especially the really rare ''green'' weapons. If you want I could give you a link to a Wiki page for it. If you can try to find someone with a friend code for a test trial. It lasts for 14 days or 10 hours whatever comes first.
You can't forget the excellent pvp this game has either. Of the many MMO's/RPG's i've played, I think I can say that GW has some of the best that I have seen. All the unique skills for pvp/pve really give you tons different builds to experiment with, and you can readjust and change these anytime you like. (Except in combat of course).
Thanks for the feedback, I think I'll try the demo 1st then

guild wars is great but you have to understand that they dont have auction house which meens youll end up spamming to death for 2 to 4 hourse trying to sell your goods and second thing they dont have huge bags like WOW HAS and three no matter how many charecter you make your stuck with 1 guild which its bad if your family plays guild wars too :(
