Soon enough I'll have a: E6750 CPU, 8800GT, 2-3GB RAM, 600+W PSU, and all of the other little accessories. That should be enough to handle Crysis on High no AA and a pretty good resolution. I'm not a framerate whore either, so as long as I get around 25FPS with all of the games I'll be happy. I know those are good specs, so once I have it, its just a matter of the games. I should be able to play all new releases for a couple years. But I'd prefer some games closer to the beginning of 2008, and other games that are already out.
While some of these suggestions are older than others, they all rate ''awesome.'' True story.Half Life, Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Orange Box, STALKER, Dawn of War, Company of Heroes, Tron 2.0, Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, KOTOR, KOTOR II, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Outcast 2, Jedi Academy, Diablo, Diablo 2, Hellgate: London, Bioshock, Crysis, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Planescape: Torment, Fallout, Fallout 2, Deus Ex, Deus Ex 2, Serious Sam II, Quake 3, Quake 4, Doom 3, The Bard's Tale, Unreal Tournament 2003 or 2004, Oblivion, Morrowind, Star Wars Republic Commando, Command %26 Conquer 1 2 or 3, Red Alert 1 %26 3, Warcraft, Prince of Persia 1 2 %26 3, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Guild Wars Original Factions or Nightwhatever, Neverwinter Nights 1 %26 2, The Witcher, Far Cry, Max Payne 1 %26 2, F.E.A.R., Medal of Honor Allied Assault %26 Pacific Assault, Evil Genius, Counter Strike, a bazillion MMOs, etc.
Good list, thanks. I've played a lot of games in there but I'll check out the rest. Anyone mind hooking me up with the knowledge of upcoming game releases? :D

From this year you'll definitely need to check The Orange Box, World in Conflict, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and The Witcher. I could list a lot more games, but those are the best this year imo.The Orange Box has Half-Life 2 which everyone should play at least once in their life and Episode One and Two for it. It has also the most innovative game this year, Portal. It's really the best thing about Orange Box. Team Fortress 2 is also a really fun multiplayer game.World in Conflict is the best RTS this year and it's easier to get in to it than some other RTS's like CoH. STALKER is overall my favourite shooter this year. Half-Life 2 would be it, if I hadn't owned it before. And The Witcher is one of the best PC RPG's in years. I love the dark medieval slavic world.
No one has recommended System Shock or System Shock 2 yet? *sigh* What are people doing these days.

I know. It was merely a jab at the demand for only new stuff. :P
