Is it possible......(mods on HL2)

Is it possible to have more than one mod installedon HL2 at once? (thx to all that answer)-i'm kinda new to mods, especially mods with games that are on steam and use the source engine.Is it possible......(mods on HL2)
bumpand also, how can u uninstall a mod (Empires 2.0) for HL2 or do u have to reinstall HL2?Is it possible......(mods on HL2)
for all the mods that I download they ushually have thier own icon to start. Most of themods have their own installer too. If they dont, then extract the files to your steam programs folder.

If you extracted it using a .zip file then you go to your steam/steamapps/sourcemods folder and then delete the file. after that then you restart steam and the game will be off your games list.and yes, you can have more that one mod for HL2 installed at once.
o ok thx again error11 and stringer4EDIT: ok, i tryed what both of u told me to do but ther is nothing that says EMPIRES 2.0 anywhere.......and the file had .EXE at the end of it, not .ZIP so thats not a prob. Is the only way to fix this is reinstalling the game?Do i have to delete its files in the folder instead?HELP!

I currently have around 8 for Half life 2 installed.If there is uninstallation option, just got to your steam folder, find the mod folder and then delete it.Hope that helps. =)
