Help Steam problem

Hey guys, from a week or so, I am having a problem with Steam. Its an updating problem. When I start Steam, it says, updating Steam platform. I wait for it to update. It gets till 36%. But after that, it becomes 0 again. This happens 3 times. After that, it says ''Steam is temporarily unavailable''. And everything closes.This problem is really bugging me off. I haven't played any steam game for over an week. And I can't even enjoy these games. Very bad days for me. Also, I am very bad at writing formal stuff and emails. So, can you guys please help me what all and how shall I write the email? Or can anyone write it for me? Also, whats their email ID? Your best bet is to use [url=http://support.steampowered.com/cgi-bin/steampowered.cfg/php/enduser/home.php]Steam's Support system.[/url]It sounds like it could be an issue involving routers, but at the same time it could also be that the client.blob file needs to be deleted. Don't follow my deletion sugguestion though, use the support site.Help Steam problem

Because I'm not sure that would fix the problem (and it may or may not cause more issues) I wouldn't recommend deleting it at this point. I don't know much about the file itself.
