Daikatana is now free on GameTap

http://www.gametap.com/home/play/gameDetails/000143750Why Daikatana of all games for Christmas?! Why don't they give away something that needs a larger fanbase because it didn't sell so well like the PC versions of BGE or Psychonauts? Or maybe even Anachronox if it HAS to be from Ion Storm/Eidos!?This game just won't go away. Thanks, John. Daikatana is now free on GameTap
Well, gosh, we can like, die happy now or something.Daikatana is now free on GameTap
There's a lot more entertaining things I can do for free then play daikatana.

Like... I dunno... smear crap on a wall?
There's a lot more entertaining things I can do for free then play daikatana.
Like tickling a walrus' tummy, for example.
And yes, indeed, that is the worst Christmas gift ever. It just shows how gracious GameTap is. Daikatana of ALL THINGS. I just want to know why. :(
I wouldn't have taken it for free back when it was released, let alone now.
Goddamn, like we didn't already suffer enough from this game just existing.

John must've had tons of awful Christmas experiences.

John Romero = The Grinch
His heart just grew three sizes smaller today.
Though, he even says that he considers Daikatana to be perfect, so in his mind, he's giving away the best gaming experience since Chrono Trigger.But...He's not.
Freaking Chrono Trigger... if he could, he'd probably sell his soul to own everything regarding Chrono Trigger and its very existence.
Look at those minimum requirements. My microwave can play this game.
Never heard of the game, what is it about?
Never heard of the game, what is it about?
it was a game hyped like no other by its creater John Romero (one of the co-founders of ID) it failed missarably in every way possible.

Pretty much, it's about a time travelling sword, and the cutscenes are so out of order that you begin to not even care anymore.

But then your microwave will start doing things like taking one piece of human flesh and making it into 3 equal sized pieces... without cooking anything else.
Well, gosh, we can like, die happy now or something.
i dont know why but this made me ROFL. The sarcasm, so sweet, so cynical lol :lol:screw Daikatana, and screw Romero, that wannabe rockstar
