I'm not a big MMO person but I love eve. Never subscribed to it, but once or twice a year my clan buddies and I get together and do the two week free trail and we have an absolute blast. It's certainly not an easy game to learn, and the whole system is crazy complexe (the entire economy is player driven) but it is a ton of fun. Try it out.
Once you get passed the steep tutorial and start to gifure things out its a lot of fun. And the player community online and off is truly awesome.
I'm not currently playing it, but I've played it and I love it. It's the best sci-fi MMO out. Like wulfgar said, it has a really steep learning curve. It took me two tries to get in.
i have a 6month sub and only played a few days ,its dam hard game looks lovely but just too many windows to juggle around for my likeing and always getting killed kinda sucks try the trial first and dont do what i did :)
Heres my EVE advice bud.1. Set aside about an hour to dig through the tutorial and get everything you can get out of it.2. Do not fly ANYTHING you can not afford to lose.3. My character's name is Saava Maak. Hit me up - my corp might have a place for you.
