This is not Call of Duty 5.People need to realise this. Treyarch games are not Call of Duty games. They just carry the Call of Duty badge. Call of Duty 3 was just Big Red One 2. They dropped the subtitle and made it a ''legit'' CoD game for one reason: sales.People are far more likely to buy a sequel to a game they love, regardess of its quality, than start building up a mediocre spinoff collection from the ground up. Call of Duty 6 is the real Call of Duty 5. But really it's Call of Duty 4, because Call of Duty 3 was Big Red One 2.It probably - and hopefully - won't even hit PC shelves, anyway.
Infinity Ward is really ruining the CoD series by hiring other companies to make their games. CoD4 was incredible, why not extend that universe since the engine and game assets are already in place? Give me expansion packs and I'll happily pay for them

If Infinity Ward were making CoD5 in a WWII setting, I probably would be okay with it. But not this...

seems like they are leap frogging development just like ubisoft does with the splinter cell games, it means they can keep churning out sequels.

CoD 3 uses the exact same Call of Duty formula that everyone loves in the IW games, it expanded upon the battle sequences and added a few new features as well as showing different sides of the war. I thought it was a great game, and _better_ than CoD 2.I really don't understand how people can say they love CoD 1 and 2 and then say they hate 3... they're almost all the same games.

Yeah with Activision wanting a call of duty EVERY YEAR, IW can't keep up, they can only make a great game every 2 years, so they need Treyarch to fill the gap with their mediocre boring shooter, set in...world war two...The only upcoming WWII Shooter I'm looking forward to is BIA: Hells Highway.
