The Witcher helpp

This might seem simple for some. Im currently on the first chapter of The Witcher and have to go into a few really dark caves. Is there a merchant in the first chapter that sells torches?The Witcher helpp
The weapon merchant should sell. You should be also able to find one in crates etc.Better choice is to make a Cat potion though.The Witcher helpp

Torches are waste anyways, you can't equip them simultaneously with a weapon.So, prepare a cat potion which enables you to see in dark.
Doesn't increasing your gamma settings work?

Or you could find the ingredients or formula to create a Cat potion that lets you see in the dark and be able to fight at the same time.
I found out that by this part of the game, someone already ga ve me a cat potion...but if you dont have one, its easy to make.i think you need 2 Qe and 1 Re...you should find those on monsters or at merchants.
