What games should I get?

My birthday is coming up tomorrow, so time to see what to buy! Well I tried some demos recently of games that looked pretty interesting like crysis, and I found I couldn't get any of the high graphics, must be time for a new computer, but don't have the resources for that right now. So I have a 3.2 GHZ, 256MB NVIDA GeForce 6800. These are the games being considered:Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warnfare- definetly looks like an amazing FPSOrange Box- looks like a great game but it would limit how many games I can get since its $50+Fable: TLC - I Really like RPGS, never got to play this oneElder Scrolls IV: Oblivion- Its either fable or this one, or both! So many options...So those are the games I'm currently considering right now but I'm open for FPS/RPG suggestions, what do y'all think? I'm limited to about $80 so can't get them all unfortunately. Comments? Suggestions? Would be greatly aprpreciated! What games should I get?
There's no such thing as too old games, as long as they're fun to play, why not play them? Fable is fun, so is Cod4. Just go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtestIt should be able to tell you what you're able to play smoothly. What games should I get?
Thanks for the link on requirements artur, but sitll debating on what to get.
Thanks for the link on requirements artur, but sitll debating on what to get.
Since you're low on cash, get a game that you'll play for a while. That way you can save up some more dough while playing games. I can recommend Morrowind, Kotor and Vampire Bloodlines. They are all lengthy games with great stories and they are dirt-cheap right now. Oblivion is not a bad game, but certainly not in the same league as the games I've mentioned. And I would get Ob over Fable simply because of the price/playtime ratio, which is important to you.Orange box is fantastic, get it. I can't recommend this box enough. Great value.Don't get Cod 4 just yet, it's really short, unless you're planning on playing the MP to death. What about GTA-series, they are cheap and still lots of fun. Especially Vice City, can't beat the eighties-vibe.
Sounds good thanks, I didn't realice CoD was the same price as Orange Box, so Orange Box is definetly on the list, I didn't like the GTA series too much, just not my style. So now its oblivion vs morrowind which would complete my $80, over to do some research on those two games.
