well, my specs are 1gig ram, dual core processor 1.66ghz,intel gma 950.I was wondering what games you can recommend for me. and please no one say i need a new card, i know that. i can play half life 2 on high.btw i like fps.what games should i get for my computer?
come on! anyone?!what games should i get for my computer?
well I dont know what kind of games you like but I recommend games like Battlefield 2, Company of heroes, Starcraft, Call of Duty, Call of Duty United Offensive.
 Half-Life 2 on an intel? you're a magician.I'd suggest CoD2, Brother in Arms, Far Cry, Chronicles of Riddick, and Unreal Tournament 2004. However, my laptop has an Intel, and BiA and CoD2 didn't work due to a Shader software issues. Far Cry and UT2004 should work nicely though.
hl2 on high? as optimized as the game is, i'm shocked that your pc can run hl2 on high. no one lives forever 2 is selling at gamestop for $10. it should work well with your pc. i don't know about far cry and ut2004 and cod2 that flipin_ja suggested; but i guess if you can run hl2 on high, then these games could run as well. ut2k4 is the least demanding of the three. and they're all good games, with ut2k4 and nolf2 being awesome.
oh, and i'd be really shocked if brothers in arms and chronicles of riddick work on your pc.

Far Cry, I had to put on low settings, which isn't good when much of the game had water effects. So yea, I overstated by saying that it would work ''nicely''.Hmm.., NoLF2 is one of those games I see a lot of copies of, but tend to ignore. I think I'll pick it up next time I see it.

So I guess he'd be able to run those other 2 on medium or low settings. The min. spec . req. requirement in terms of video is higher on BiA and CoR than HL2, as I've listed below. Of course that's just a general reference and they doesn't really help much. I know that BiA and CoR (and CoD) have shader effects that is required for the game to run- but games like UT2004 and Far Cry didn't really need. All those games worked on my desktop which has an ATI Radeon, but BiA and CoD ran on my laptop- which has Intel Graphics- but with a black blank screen because the shader incompatibility (or incapability) just wouldn't render any of the graphics (but I could hear the mouse pointer hover over the menus and the game music running).
