is team fortress 2 more of a team based game than bf2142 or will i not be able to play it without a microphone and some friends to play with me?team fortress 2 multiplayer question
TF 2 is very much team based, the maps are objective based and fairly small, so your team will have to work together if you want to win. You don't need a mic for the game, but it obviously helps.team fortress 2 multiplayer question
I play tean fortress 2 every now an thenout of a 12player team i say about 2-4ppl use mics (On australian servers)
imo its not nearly as team oriented as bf2142
During the beta is was the most team-oriented game I have ever played. Everyone communicated and worked together. Since, it has regressed a bit, but the winning team is almost always the one with better teamwork.
Do not compare TF2 will BF2142. 2142 sucks as a team game, your basically on your own with stupid lasers and playing a dumb game, they killed the Battlefield series with 2142, BF2 was and is the bomb still. TF2 is a lot smaller, smaller maps and servers. So the better team will always win, keeping the class balance and timings is the key of winning in TF2. In BF2142 and even in BF2, you can be a rambo and own, not the same in TF2.
