So how was it !

Seeing as this year is almost over, how was it for you as a PC Gamer ?Dissapointed ? Happy ? or just Satisfied ?
So how was it !
A lot of hype, most games didnt live up to it, but id say im satisfied. So how was it !
Satisfied. A few great FPSs and a bunch of mediocre ones. I'd like to see more quality RPGs being made. The Witcher is the only one that's worth mentioning this year.
I'd say happy. This is probably because a number of quality games were released this year that are in my favorite genre (FPS). Next year I would like to more hybrids (e.g. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) and RPGs.What I didn't like is that 2007 was bottom heavy.
My summary of the year :It started great ewith awesome stalker, glactic civlizations and supreme commnader which i enjoyed a lot. Then were was a bit of lean time for me personally but starting from august or september, it has been quite great with one good game after another. some didn't met their hype but were great fun none the lessso, i would say i am pretty happy :D

i haven't played many 2007 games (stinking computer!), and i don't plan to until early or middle of 2008 (that's when i plan to upgrade), so i'll tell you in half a year or so. :D but episode 2, tf2, and portal were AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as far as what i've heard, it seems 2007 was the best year in pc gaming since 2004. orange box, crysis, bioshock, wic, witcher, cod4, gow, ut3, quake wars? yeah, i'd say that's a really good year. the only disappointing game seems to be hellgate.

This year was a disappointment, Crysis was made out to be the second coming and sucked ass, Hellgate looked cool but sucked, UT 3 didnt live up to my expectations, GoW on pc has **** online community and to many problems.. The only good purchase I reallyliked this year was the orange box.

VERY Happy.. Company of Heroes: Opposing fronts is still keeping me very entertained playing online.I've played a number of quality titles this year:Condemned - Criminal OriginsSTALKERStar Wars: Empire at WarSupreme CommanderThere have been some quality titles released this year, i can't wait to see what comes out next year!

2007 has been an exceptional year for gaming for me personally. The Orange Box, the Witcher, COD4, BioShock, WiC, Dungeon Runner's subscription lol. It's been a good year and i hope 2008 can deliver some good quality games aswell.

I really liked this year, there were dissapointments, but at the same time I expected them, but most of the dissapointments were around fall for me, overall, this whole year was great though.
