If so, can anyone give me a link?FYI, I am thinking of getting the Xbox 360 Half-Life Orange Box game that comes out Oct.10 that includes Team Fortress 2 and figure I can try the PC demo if there is one to see if I like it.Is there a Team Fortress 2 demo out?
No demo, although if you pre-order it for the PC, you can play the whole thing as a beta. Nothing for the 360, though. Is there a Team Fortress 2 demo out?
if there is it will most likly to be on steam
It is still in beta as they are making a few tweaks. Just recently they removed the freidnly fire option from all servers! *cries*
If you buy the orange box on steam you can play the TF2 beta, it's awesome.
I've never seen a Valve multiplayer game with demo. They do have weekends, when they are free to play though.
The beta is sweet! For some reason, I kick ass at that game and no other online multiplayer (get my ass handed to me in counterstrike).Yep, they just took out FF. Doesn't really bother me, since I prefer it off anyway (I hate getting team-killed). They said having FF on breaks the game in the a number of ways. Oh, and don't buy it for the 360 unless you really have to... It's best played on a PC.

They are setting up the controls for the 360 version like Halo, which imo makes them just as good as a keyboard and mouse. Plus then I get the standard console benefits (can sit on my couch, won't run into any graphic card incompatibility erros etc., standard headsets that most people use).I'll admit the PC version will be better (more precise controls, better graphics, modding) but I'm just more into the conveyance benefits of consoles most of the time.

I can't imagine anyone going for the console version with the orange box when they have a choice between the two but to each his own I suppose.

A lot of people seem to have the same mindset. And sitting on the couch is nice.
so did they ever get a demo out?

There is no TF2 demo and there probably won't be one.
