games with squares? problem.

i have a problem, when i start playing a game, it runs perfectly, i stop playing, everything's fine.... when i try again later, the game looks weird (this happens with every game), it looks with squares and stuff like that, and the n it crashes :S.... i think that this happens when the video card gets hot, what do you think?... but that didn't happened to me before, i don't why it start it now....thanks...games with squares? problem.
definitely sounds like overheating video card.If you're computer is a bit old its likely that dust has accumulated in your PC and/or video card fan and impeded the flow of cool air.Buy some Dust-Off or compressed air in a can, and just blow it through the insides.games with squares? problem.
That's called artifacting, and it's almost always an indication that your video card is overheating. Blowing out the dust from you case if it hasn't been cleaned in a while might help, but it more than likely won't be nearly enough. You need some better cooling. Buy some high-quality case fans for your computer, maybe get a better fan for the video card itself.
