Does anyone out there still play age of empires 2?

I play the conquerors a lot at home, but I don't even know how to play against other people now that zone's down. People always tell me to use ''gamespot or gamespy'', but neither has any way to actually play. The only way I can think of is to use the internet TCP/IP connection thing, but I'd to know the other players specific IP address or we can't connect. Maybe there's something like the zone still out there, or maybe I just need to know who else can still play.Does anyone out there still play age of empires 2?
im pretty sure there isnt a way to play online anymore but you should give aoe 3 a try because its pretty much the same gameplay with a much bette graphics.Does anyone out there still play age of empires 2?

Dude, i honestly think no one plays on line in this ancient game. Try the newer versions of AOE.

No, I stopped when Age of Mythology came out, and I still play that one :PAoE 3 didn't work on my PC :x. I know, I'm no help. Just wanted to vent.

I still play it occasionally but have never played it online, only over a LAN.

same. AoE 2 was the best AoE game IMO.
I still play it quite a lot, along with Starcraft. I never play it online though. I never really got into AOE 3 when i bought it and sooned returned to playing AOE 2.

I really don't see how anyone can say otherwise. The first isn't as polished and the third focuses far too much on the economy/home city. I know I spent more time playing AoEII than I did StarCraft back in the day.
